An acceptable use policy (AUP; also sometimes referred to as acceptable usage policy) is a set of rules applied by network and website owners which restrict the ways in which the network or site may be used.

Autoresponder


An autoresponder is a computer program that automatically answers email sent to it. Autoresponders provide information to their prospective customers and then follow-up with them at a later date.

eMail Alias


An eMail alias is an email address that does not actually have a mail box or  account setup for it. Instead, all emails sent to an alias are re-directed to another existing email address.

Example: An alias "Sales" could be setup so that any eMail sent to "Sales@YourDomain.com" could be delivered to whoever handles incoming sales orders for your company without that person having to check two different email accounts.
